Friday at last and Alex got to spend the afternoon at the field with Mum and Dad for a little running around. Mum kicked a blow up ball and Alex got to chase after it.

Alex spent a good 45minutes running on the field playing with the ball and also jumping in the long jumper's sand pit.

On the trip home Dad snapped a photo of Mum and Alex in the back of the car whilst waiting at a red light.

Alex had a couple of good sleeps today and then a run on the football field followed by a swim at the pool. There were no pictures except just after dinner when Alex was having a drink.

The other photo was taken a few minutes after Alex ate a powerbar.

Alex and Mum slept in this morning and when they woke up Alex spotted a few ants on the floor and had some fun playing with them.

The day went by quick with a couple of naps for Alex and then Mum cooked some pasta for dinner as she watched a you tube video clip.

Dad bought Alex a new toy and the directions said reccomended for 2-6year olds but I guess Alex not at 1.5 years couldn't quite reach the pedals. It did make a good push toy and hopefully soon Alex will be able to ride it.

It was almost bed time and Alex decided to grab a few things out of the fridge to play with before going upstairs.

There was only one photo of Alex from today and that was late in the afternoon after pizza for dinner (with some remnants left around Alex's mouth!) and watching a You Tube video with Dad.

Alex woke up early for the 5.30am swim and soon fell asleep on Dad's lap watching the swimmers. Back at home she had a good nap. There were a few ants crawling on the floor that Alex spotted and she ran for the vacume cleaner and swept them up. (I guess that's how Mum does it!)

Alex went to the 11.00am swim and afterwards was quite tired and took another nap. She was even tired after waking up so there was plenty of being carried around today. After a small dinner and some juice Mum took Alex upstairs to try and get her to fall asleep.

There was no blog yesterday because there were no photo's to post except for this late one that Mum snapped when Alex was sleeping

Alex woke early in the morning and was full of energy ready to play. Mum was quick with the camera as Alex ran around the room.

Alex had some cereal for breakfast and thought the Kangaroo would like some too!

The lastest interest of Alex has been playing with the computer mouse and moving the pointer over things and clicking them. She's a fast learner!

Alex was hiding behind the shades for a while in the afternoon and went invisible until she pulled them open.

Sunday's are always tough to get Alex to go to bed so Mum let her play with some powders and creams that were nice and heavy to pick up and impossible to open.

The playing lasted a good half an hour with moving things back and forth and taking the occasional look out the window and finnally Alex was ready for bed.

After swim this morning Alex played with her toy Kangaroo for a while and wouldn't let go of it.

It is a big Kangaroo but Alex was able to throw it over her shoulder to carry it around.



Late in the afternoon Alex went to the pool for a swim and practiced some kicking.

It was a good day at the pool with Alex staying in a long time and enjoying every minute of it.

Back at home and Alex played in the fridge and Mum and Dad didn't mind her taking everything out that she could and then put it all back.

There were no pictures for yesterday's blog and not many for today's either. Yesterday Alex was saying "go" all the time and to anyone that walked past at the shops. Maybe some more words will come soon. It has been hot again the last few days and all the grass outside has turned brown. Alex and Mum spent some time playing on it which felt different than when it was green.

The grass was definitely prickly and Alex was carefull not to put her hands on it.

After the playing was over Alex sat for an Italian dinner of pasta and pizza!

Alex had to have another vaccination today and it turned out a quick trip in and out as now she has them spread out so that she only gets one shot at a time it seems she has no side affect at all. It was buisness as usual today with a two hour nap, pick Mum up from work and then play around and eat stuff. Mum bought some new peanut butter biscuits and Alex seemed to like them.

After having quite a few Alex just wanted one more and that was enough.



Dad was out for a bike ride and when he came home Alex looked like she had been playing in mud! Aparently it was a chocolate powerbar.

The powerbars made for a good game of emptying box's and scattering bars around the house.

Alex was up early to go to the 5.30am swim, then she took a good nap before going to the 11.00am swim. Pretty soon after that it was another good 2hr plus snooze. When Mum came home from work it was a walk to the Pharmacy and Alex worked up an appetite and ate some cereal.

Alex has plenty of milk during the night so eating the cereal dry wasn't a problem.

It was vegie burger's on the grill again for dinner and Alex helped flip them and as they were cooking she kept a good eye out the window for them.

Alex started the Sunday off with Mum and they played some wii, did some cleaning and washed some clothes. Not sure what Alex was chewing on in this photo.

Late in the morning Alex was pretty tired and Mum snapped a shot of her sleeping with Purtunia on her head.

Mum and Alex took a trip to the Outlet Stores in the afternoon and on the drive home Alex made a good mess with the cheezy poofs. After putting them back in the container from the car seat Alex tipped them onto the kitchen floor.

Saturday and Alex had a good sleep in. Once she woke up Mum put some DVD's on the TV for Alex to watch and she was nice and comfortable in the big chair.

Later in the afternoon Alex got to go in the water with Dad whilst Mum swam with the master's group. There were no photo's but Alex had a good time. Back at home and it was pasta for dinner and there was plenty of it for Alex to munch on.

Watching a DVD on the computer always helps at dinner time and it was the potty song that Alex watched the most of.

Alex had a good sleep in this morning and no early morning swim. Once she woke up she ran around as usual. The photo below was when she was hiding behind the blinds.

Alex has been eating a lot more food with all her new teeth that have now calmed down.

Alex had a good sleep late in the afternoon and Mum snuck a photo of her sleeping along with Purtunia and Dads watch.

After dinner at Jamies restaurant Mum and Dad took Alex to the toy store and picked up a long tube with a tent at the end for Alex to play in. It was a hit and she played in it for a while.

Alex woke up early this morning and then took a nap soon after for a good couple of hours. The day went by pretty quick and in the afternoon Dad took a bike ride and looks like Mum and Alex did some vacuming!

The house was nice and clean when Dad got home. Alex used to be scared of the vacume but has no problems controlling it now.

I am not sure if this is a photo of Alex eating some bread or comparing her hair to Dads!

It was vege burger's on the grill for dinner and eating on the deck with the nice warm afternoon weather was in order.

Another day where there were only a couple of photo's of Alex. Here she is playing with and then eating her scooby snack biscuits. Apart from playing Alex went to both swims today and also had a couple of two hour naps.

Later in the evening it was pasta or ravioli for dinner and Alex watched the potty song again and looks like she was enjoying it.
