After the late night las night Alex didn't go outside at all today. It was pretty much eat a little, sleep a little, and play a little. Also when ever Alex had the chance she would stand up.



Alex was also in a good mood for most of the day which made things fun.

Alex had a Saturday morning sleep in until about 9.00am and must have needed it. She pretty much spent the day playing on the floor with toys.

For the evening Alex got to visit Kara, Dino and Mia at their home. Carolyn, Kay and Nancy also were visiting to wish Gran Ma a safe trip back to Australia. Whilst Mum wasn't looking, Kara snuck Alex into the bedroom for a little make over.



Alex didn't mind the headgear and Mum thought it was wourth a photo because it probably won't be common seeing Alex with a pink thing in her hair.

Alex and Mia got to check each other out exchanging looks and making different noises to each other.

Carolyn the Baby magnet took good care of Mia and Alex came over for a hello too!

Alex has been doing quite a bit of Dancing listening to music and we captured a little last night on video.



Then a little more.

Alex has been getting to spend some time with Gran Ma from Australia during the days. One more week and she returns home.

Later in the afternoon Pasta was for dinner and Alex took a good look at the box to see what it was.



The walker toy has been good for Alex to push around but the floor is a little slipery and fast so Dad has to follow her around.

A package arrived from CompuTrainer and Alex wanted to play on the box and then see what was inside.

After a little while she found out how to open the box.

Another day where Alex's teeth seemed to be bothering her which meant she didn't sleep much and had to find plenty of things to do to keep busy. There are only two photo's from today and here Alex was interested in the dish washer but couldn't quite find how to open the door.



Mum made rice and beans for dinner which is a favourite for Alex. (and there is always singing that goes with dinner time which meant Alex joined in!)

Alex's teeth were bothering her again today so there was no sleeping. It was a day of finding things to do. When Mum came home from work Alex played in the pen whilst dinner was being cooked.

Alex is able to stand and walk holding things pretty good now and would rather do that than sit most of the time.

Alex went to both swims today and at the 11.00am swim got to play with the paddles again.

Alex also found a fin that was almost as tall as her sitting down. It made a good thing to hide behind.

The thing Alex spent the most time playing with was Christine's flip flops.

I know Dad would get in trouble if Alex was chewing on Christine's flip flops under his watch, but I guess Mum thought Christine's feet were squeaky clean enough!



Later in the evening Alex's teeth were bothering her again and the TV remotes came to the rescue to try and distract the discomfort.

Alex had a good wekend. Looks like her teeth troubles have calmed down which meant she was able to eat more. When she eats more she plays more and likes to lift this toy more than ride on it.

She played with it for a good half an hour and then moving onto something else.

The only other picture from the weekend was again Alex playing with some toys.

Alex had another day of good sleeps and didn't really eat much becuase of her new teeth coming through. Mum put her in the rubber duck to have a little fun.

Alex likes to immatate noises as she does here with quack, quack!

Sports a big smile after mom took her for a spin as if she was floating in the water.

Alex got to help Mum with some laundry today. Infact it was Alex's clothes to be washed. After getting them close to the machine Alex had to get the clothes out of the basket.

Once she got them out she would hand them over to Mum who put them in to be washed. There were plenty of clothes and it was the most fun ever had doing laundry.

After all the clothes were put in the washing machine Alex helped push the basket back into the bedroom.

Alex had a good sleep in again this morning and then went to the pool for the 11.00am swim. Being there for over an hour Alex needs things to keep her entertained so handing out the paddles did the trick for a short while.

Later in the afternoon Alex found the car keys that Dad was looking for so he could go to the gym.

Now that Alex is moving around a lot more these days she has been enjoying playing with all the toys that play tunes and she has them all play at the same time!

Mum set up the wii golf and took her shot and whilst Dad was in the kitchen Alex took his shot and did a good drive down the fairway. It took a little trickery to get the controller back from her.

During the golf game Alex used some things to hold onto as she walked around the room.

Usually Mum is standing just behind incase of any falls but Alex made it safely without any help.

Then she came back the same way she came. Once again nice and carefull.

There was only one photo taken of Alex today and that was when she was playing with the cord to the baby monitor, it's way more interesting than her toys!

Another tooth at the top as finnaly poked through leaving one more to go. There was a good sleep in this morning and Alex only went out for the 11am swim. Back at home she played on the floor for a long time.

Before dinner Mum was pushing Alex for rides around the place whist Alex hung on.

The high chair was another chance to get pushed around and Alex really liked zooming about the place as Mum pushed.

February 14th and Valentines day meant that the only gift in the house was for Alex and it was from Carolyn. A little carrot cake, cup cake!

There was a lot more playing than eating, infact I don't think Alex ate more than a couple of crumbs.

After a few licked fingers and cake flung everywhere the cup cake was gone. After the mess Alex had to go upstairs for a bath and change of clothes!

Later on in the day Alex was back to the usual standing and holding onto things moving around the place.

There were a few times when she let go and balanced for a short while. As usual Mum was close by to soften any falls.

Before bed Mum read to Alex from the new book called "Tickle Monster".



After each page turn Alex got the heck tickled out of her by Mum which was a lot of fun (for Mum!)

With Valentines day coming this weekend Alex received a nice present from Christine who swims with the 11am group. Alex helped to open the gift.

It turned out to be a a great little gift that contained a book and a pair of gloves that alowed the fingers to poke through. Otherwise called the "Tickle Monster".

Later in the afternoon whilst Mum and Dad were playing some wii golf Alex sat on the floor and watched.

It was dinner time and we decided to go out for Fish and Chips so Alex had to put some shoes on. These ones didn't last long because Alex kept taking them off.

At the restaurent Alex sat in a high chair and watched on as Mum Dad and Grand Ma (from Australia) ate. Alex didn't have any to eat!
