It was a normal morning today for Alex with a little playing, a few walks and then a 2hr nap. When Mum came home from work it was off to the park for a run around. Mum looked after Alex whilst Dad ran and somehow Alex had a little fall because she ran too fast for Mum to be able to catch her. A little crying and a split lip lasted for a few minutes and then Alex took off running again with Mum and Dad staying close to prevent falls.

Alex didn't fall again even though she ran just as fast. The grass however would have been a softer fall!

Back at home and Alex was quite tired, so before bed there was a little playing, then a quick bath followed by a little more playing and laying upside down and then finnally Alex fell asleep around 8.00pm.

Alex went to both swims today and followed them up with a couple of good naps. All back into routine again and down in the basement Dad found a couple of toys that had been put away.

A tent with a tunnel and Alex made sure to take all her animal friends inside to sit in the tent.



Alex played for a couple of hours, in and out of the tent. Through the tunnel and had a good old time.

This afternoon Alex joined Mum and Dad on a trip to Hingham High School to watch some cross country running done by a few of the students Dad coached. Alex enjoyed watching everyone run and also made friends with a little dog. There was a little time between races and Mum was showing Alex a few tricks to try as we waited for the next race.

Back at home and once again Alex played with a few toys and Curious George was a popular choice.

Alex has been a little difficult to say the least lately, in that she refuses to sleep when she is tired and she doesn't eat when she should be hungry. I guess it depends what the food is?

There was plenty of action down in the basement today as Alex gathered all her stuffed animals and loaded them in her jeep.



Alex didn't take them anywhere just tossed them out and then loaded them back in again, (several times!)

Alex went with Mum, Meme and Pap to breakfast and then Webb park yesterday morning. Alex doesn't sit in her buggy anymore it was all walking and running on the trails followed by a short sit down.

Meme also needed a sit down and Alex took a look at her aching feet!



There was a nice sandy beach for Alex to play on and in the sand there was a toy truck that Alex found and brought back home.



Early this morning Alex watched Mum put some lip cream on and thought it was worth a try.

Sunday's are football day's and Alex in her Redskin shirt watched a couple of games in the big chair.

Alex was up early for the Friday morning swim and after a short nap went to the 11.00am swim where she jumped in the water for a swim with Dad. Later in the afternoon it was a good walk to the football field for some outdoor play. Just after returning home Meme and Pap arrived from PA and Alex received a few presents one of them was a new chair.

A Redskin football shirt was another gift for Alex and it looks like Alex liked it just as much as Mum!

Down in the basement Alex was enjoying all the attention as she found a few old VHS tapes that she carried back and forth.

It was getting quite late and Alex didn't want to go to sleep so Alex munched on a few of Meme's potatoe chips.

There was no blog post last night because Alex was still awake at 11.00pm. After quite a few walks and some car watching, star gazing and more walks Alex finnally was asleep by 11.30pm. Earlier in the evening Alex got some new shoes that will be good for when it cools down.

After a good sleep in, Alex and Dad started the morning off with a 2hr walk around pond meadow, a nice little trail that goes through the woods. Then it was back home for a nap for a couple more hours. Later in the afternoon Alex played in the basement and amongst other things drew on the board with some chalk.

Mum likes the basement these days because she can lay on the couch and let Alex run around and play with all the toys safely whilst Mum takes a breather!

Alex had to go for her year and a half Dr's visit today and had another vaccination. All went well and then after plenty of walks and playing with Dad Alex had a good 3hr nap late afternoon. A couple of hours after Mum came home Alex woke up and was hungry and thirsty so it was pasta and juice to the rescue.

Desert was an ice block and there was a football replay on TV with the commentator saying "touch down" and Alex gave the signal.

Alex got to go to both swims again today and then once again followed them up with a couple of good naps. Late in the afternoon it cooled down quite a bit and Mum found a good jumper for Alex to wear as she checked out the deck.

Back inside and Alex tried a few pushups that she has been watching Dad do.

Alex has also been copying Mum on a few things and one of them is blowing her nose. Alex can do it pretty loud without a tissue several times.

It is actually quite funny as Alex keeps doing it and then laughs. It sounds like a big fog horn!

Today was all about cleaning and getting ready to show the house for potential buyer's. Alex helped out with some vacuming and then helped Mum sweep the deck.

It was a long day and Alex got in a couple of naps and then stayed awake quite late into the night. It was almost 10pm by the time Alex had a bath. Mum likes it when Alex's hair is all messy as she called down to Dad to get a photo.

Alex was awake at 7.00am this morning and started the day off running around the inside of the house. Once it warmed up a little Mum took Alex outside for more running whilst Dad went out for a run. After that it was down in the basement for some playing and Skippy got to join Alex in her Jeep.

Some sunlight was shining through the window and making a colored reflection that had Alex's attention for a while.

Then it was back in the Jeep and Alex was playing with Mum with her arms folded and then quickly ends up laughing!

Alex was in and out of her Jeep all day and even mastered climbing on every part of it without falling off.

Alex has also been pressing the accelerator and driving it at times but she also enjoyed pushing it.

Alex also likes standing on her head and then flipping into a sumersalt onto her back.

There were only a couple of photo's from today and one of them was when Alex was outside feeding the squirrells, Ground Hog and Chipmunks. Alex also had some cheezy poofs for herself to eat.

There were 4 squirrels, two chipmunks and a ground hog eating the nuts and they are getting quite close as they eat.



Just before bedtime Mum took a close up of Alex and herself sitting in the chair.

Dad and Alex spent a good part of the day going to the pool, and Walmart with a couple of trips to Dunkin Donuts thrown in. Walmart was the big one as Alex got a new toy that Dad wasn't going to tell Mum about but Alex wanted her to see it down in the basement.



The toy is meant for age 3 years and up so seeing Alex is only 1.5years Mum had to join her incase Alex got pulled over by the cops.

Alex pretty much played in the little jeep all day long and opened and shut the doors, turned the radio on and off but didn't make it go anywhere just yet.

Just before going to bed Alex was checking out the outside of the jeep and found that the front opens up.

Alex went to both swims today which meant a couple of good naps after each. It was a nice day outside and Alex took her ball out on the deck for a good kick around!

Whilst Dad was out for a ride Mum and Alex went to the shops and apparently Alex ate quite a few biscuits.

Alex has been writing all over the place with a pen so Mum found a better solution that was on sale at BJ'S. A chalk board that stands up and that also has an eraser board.



Mum didn't buy any chalk or eraser pens so Alex made the most of it by climbing through the middle.

It was even more fun to push around the room.

Alex and Dad walked to Mums work to pick up the car and kept busy today with a few trips to walmart, the swimming pool and dunkin donuts. Dad likes the coffee from dunkin donuts but Alex likes all the attention from the lady's that work there! Dad has his eye on a battery powered car for Alex but every walmart was sold out so instead Alex got a new watch for the time being. Not sure when this photo was snapped but Alex was eating a blue iceblock.

Mum asked Alex what time it was and Alex is pretty good at looking at her wrist and now with the watch on she didn't have to pretend!

There were quite a few squirrells out today and Alex has watched them eat the nuts and tried chewing one herself.
