Alex had a day full of walks going around the block, down the road and then to meet Mum on her way home from work. It was quite hot out so there were plenty of stops in the shade to watch a few trucks go by. Late in the afternoon Mum and Dad realized there were no photo's from the day so Alex took off her shirt and provided a couple.

After a bath Alex wanted to put her own pants on whilst Dad washed the dishes in the back ground.

Alex tried for a good while to get them on but in the end needed a little help.

Alex went to both swims today and didn't sleep much in between. She had plenty of energy despite the lack of sleep and played in the basement for a few hours, fed some squirrells for a while and watched some cartoons on TV whilst eating an ice cream cone her own style.

Mum took Alex to the shops late in the afternoon and the empty bags made for some good play material.

Not sure how long Alex lasted inside a bag without falling over but Mum thought it made for a good photo.

Dad spent a good part of the morning yesterday cleaning the deck and Alex spent a good part of the morning watching Dad and then doing some cleaning of her own.

The basement needed a good clean up too and Alex pulled out a toy Speedy Pete bought her a while back which is almost rideable now. Maybe in a few weeks!

Mum spent time today cleaning upstairs and Alex likes to take controll of the vacume because she likes it done properly.

For a snack brake Alex grabbed an apple and wanted to wear Dads socks as she ate!

With the basement almost cleaned up Alex found a few medalions that were fun to play with for a while. After the big day of cleaning Alex fell asleep quite early just after 7.00pm.

Alex woke up early to go to the 5.30am swim this morning and then had a good 2hr nap. Dad has cleaned up and put all the toys away so all Alex had was a bucket to carry around and it kept her entertained for a while.

Uncle Jeffery from PA gave Alex a giant bag of nuts to feed the squirrells with. There were 4 squirrells and a ground hog looking thing going after the nuts and Alex had a good old time with them all.



Alex has been liking sitting in the drivers seat in the car playing with all the buttons and switches and thought she would try Dad's sunnies on as well.

Late in the afternoon Alex and Mum were playing outside and Alex tried one of her many moves whilst running on the grass.

Alex spent the morning helping Dad clean up the house ready for it to be put up for sale. Not only did Alex like vacuming but she wiped any marks of the floor with a paper towel too!

Alex only had a two hour nap during the day and then went with Mum for about an hour and a half of playing at the park. Alex was still running around when they returned but she fell asleep not long after.

Alex and Mum had a good sleep in this morning and they both woke up with big smiles. Before going to the 11.00am swim Alex was kidding around with Mum again about being ready to go.

As dinner was being cooked Mum let Alex have some peanut butter as a snack and Alex didn't mind using her whole hand to get some out.

Just before bed time the redskin football game came on again and Alex watched it for a short while in her Mooseman PJ'S.

It took a while for Alex to fall asleep last night which meant she slept in good until about 9.00am. Dad didn't feel so well and it was raining outside so the day dragged on with not much to do. Alex did get to jump around for a while once Mum came home and even though the bouncer is getting small for Alex she can still give it a good workout.

Alex got to watch some Tom and Jerry cartoons during the day with Dad and then when Mum was around Alex got in trouble for pushing buttons she wasn't supposed too!

Alex slept in with Mum this morning and then hung out with Dad whilst Mum was at work. Just before the 11.00am swim Alex had an apple and sat watching sponge bob on TV for a short while.

After the 11.00am swim Alex slept for almost 4hrs which worked out well because it was raining outside. Later in the evening and after a good dinner of Mums zucinni pasta Alex played in the basement for a while with everything, including some bottled water.

It's been a few days with no blog posting's mainly because there were no internet connections on the trip to Atlantic City or at the hotel.(there was at the hotel but you had to pay for it!) After a long 5hr car ride from MA to New Jersey it was time to stretch out just after checking into the hotel room. Alex grabbed her beach stuff and headed out the door to the beach. It was quite late in the afternoon, there were some rain clouds out so it was a quick visit to the beach.



Later that night we had the sad news of Mum's Nan passing away early in the evening. We were due to visit her in a few days time after our stay at Atlantic City. Alex has been using her rocking chair more now that she is big enough to climb onto it and the photo below was on Alex's first birthday when Nan gave it to Alex.

The Atlantic City trip was cut a little short and we headed to Greencastle PA to visit Mum's family. It was really hot there and Alex played on some of the swings at the park that Mum played on when she was younger. Alex also enjoyed playing with Mum using her folded arm technique.

Luckily there were no falls at the playground as some of the swings were quite big and needed Mums assistance.

Late Saturday afternoon the car was all packed for the 8hr drive back home and Alex and Mum caught up on a little sleep in the back seat whilst Dad drank 5 Rockstar drinks. Sunday morning at 8.00am Alex was wide awake and wanted to play outside on the chairs. She was looking good apart from a sniffle she picked up somewhere on the trip.

Mum gathered all the spare change from the trip and Alex took her time to slip it into the piggy bank.

Jonathan left Mum and Dad a birthday card that played a funny tune and Alex kept opening it Dancing to the tune.

Alex woke up early this morning and was ready to play. But first it was some breakfast and Mum had a bagel with cream cheese and Alex likes to take the cream cheese off. Looks like it made for some good hair gel!

Mum was in cleaning mode today so the car got a good srub inside and out. Alex helped out and even wanted to vacum some grass!



With all the car cleaning going on Alex wanted to take a drive so Mum fastened the seat belt and let Alex play for a while.

Then Dad jumped in and let Alex steer the car down to the dumpster to empty out the back.

Alex had so much fun, so Dad extended the drive a bit with a few turns and then into the garage. Alex made it into the garage without hitting the mirror unlike Mum!

Alex spent the morning with Mum whilst Dad went for a bike ride. It was then breakfast at a local diner and then Alex played around for a while at home. Later in the afternoon Alex went for a swim at the pool and because she didn't nap at all during the day she fell asleep early in the evening. Mum only got one photo from the day and that was of Alex sitting in the chair making it rock back and forth.

Alex went to both swims today and once again had a couple of two hour naps after each. Later in the day Alex ran around with no shirt and played on the trampoline for a while.

It's Mum and Dads birthday next week and Alex checked out a birthday card from Steve that had a dog on the front.



Preseason football has started and looks like Alex was clapping for a good Redskin play!

Alex waited patiently for dinner to cook and had some fun with Mum with her arms crossed as she waited.

Alex went to both swims today and followed them both with 2hr naps. Alex wanted to bounce in her old jumper and Mum was surprised because it has been a good 6 months since she was in there.

Dad took Alex to see a few dogs at the pet store this morning and then went back again in the afternoon for another visit. Alex likes dogs so it was a fun time. Late in the afternoon Alex went to the pool with Mum and Dad and then it was back at home and Alex ran around with the football as dinner was cooking.

The kangaroo also got carried around for a while.

Alex has been wanting to play in the basement the last few days and discovered that she can now sit nicely on her rocking chair.

Alex slept in this morning and then went to the 11.00am swim. She slipped and bit her lip just before practice strated and got a little blood over Mums shirt. She was ok after a short while and played in the splash pool for a while. Later in the afternoon after a good nap Alex played in the basement with Dad for a while and then Mum gave Alex a couple of ice blocks to eat whilst dinner was being made. Alex made sure to lick up all the melted ice block!

After dinner and a sit outside watching stars and aeroplanes with Dad Alex was pretty tired and fell asleep quick and Mum got a photo of Alex in her normal sleep position for the night!

There was only one photo from the entire weekend and that was of Alex sitting down for a break at the Gloucester Triathlon. It was an action packed weekend as Alex played with plenty of dogs at the race and at the mall the day before. It was another scraped knee for Alex again as she fell chasing a dog, Mum didn't get any photos at the medical tent this time!

Alex started the day off with a banana, well that was after going to the pool at 5.30am and having a nap for a couple of hours afterwards.

In the afternoon Alex took all her books and placed them in a pile on the steps before reading a few of them.

After the books Alex dragged the Kangaroo around for a while.
