Alex was back into schedule today going to the early swim then taking a two hour nap, then going to the 11.00am swim with a two hour nap after that. The day went by quite quick and Alex didn't really do much besides a little playing and reading and then listening to music as she pushed things around the place.

After dinner and just before a bath Dad took Alex outside to find some squirrells but there weren't any so Alex lay down and did some back stroke and a few sit ups.

A little help from Dad a few times on the sit ups and Alex was doing well.

There was no Blog yesterday because we once again forgot to take any photo's. This photo was from Sunday's race with Alex, Mum and Dad up close to the stage.

Alex woke up early this morning and got to join Mum on her morning jog with Dad pushing the stroller. She was a little sleepy and Dad ended up turning back early to head back home.

Dad took Alex for a swim today because it was so hot out. The swim only lasted about half an hour because the Sun was too strong for Alex's fair skin. Back at home and Alex enjoyed some dancing.

Not sure what the next photo was about but Alex was doing a lot of running around which Mum said was to tire her out so she would fall asleep early.

Alex spent the day at the beach where the Cohasset Triathlon was taking place. There was plenty of sand for her to play on and the music from the stage could be heard even down by the beach and Alex didn't mind dancing to it.

It was a fun day for Alex with all the people and the running around that Mum did to make sure and watch everything going on. When the music was playing Alex got excited so Dad took her up to sit on the stage really close to the speakers.

Alex got to wear Dads medal after the race and gave it a good chew.

Back at home after a long day Mum gave Alex an ice block which she threw on the floor and grabbed Mums Trumpet instead! The ice cream was way better!

Alex made a little mess whilst eating and somehow Mum got her to vacume it up!

Alex woke early this morning and then went with Mum to Cohasset to meet up with Dad. Alex met a couple of 4 year olds that she made friends with and hopes to see them tomorrow at the Triathlon. For breakfast before leaving Alex had a peach which took a while to eat.

Early in the afternoon Mum gave Alex a few strawberries and you could tell she liked them by the mess on her shirt.

Looks like Mum took a close up of Alex and Herself, this was after spending some time in the pool at the Wemouth Club. Alex also played with Mia and Kara at the pool which meant Alex didn't do much swimming just trying to get close to Mia.

Alex wore her Triathlon shirt this afternoon because Dad is racing tomorrow. It will be her first look at a Triathlon up close.

They say babies like drawing and writing things at an early age but Alex hasn't really done much at all and is now trying it out for the first few times.

There was no blog yesterday because there were no pictures to post. We took a couple today but still not really enough. Alex fell asleep yesterday at about 6.30pm and slept up until the 5.30am swim this morning. She had a short nap after that and fell asleep again at about 7.00pm for the night. That all means not much sleep for Alex's baby sitter during the day! With Father's day the other day, Carolyn bought Dad a DVD called, "Once Upon A Potty" and surprisingly Alex has been enjoying watching it. Here is Alex and Mum checking it out this afternoon. They watched it a few times over so as not to miss anything.

Alex was quite active today and practiced some backstroke on the floor. There was quite a bit of backstroke in the swim workout today and Alex watches closely and picks it up fast.

Other activities included pushing the music toy around the place mostly at a running pace.

Alex had a restless night last night with her teeth bothering her so Mum stayed home from swim and slept in with Alex. That meant Alex didn't want to take a mid morning nap with Dad so it was play time all morning. Lately Alex has been playing quite a lot with her doll!

Alex went to the 11.00am swim and then took an afternoon nap and was woken by the noisy lawn mowers outside so it became play time again all afternoon. Dad took Alex to the Derby street shops, Walmart and bought a few more toys just before picking Mum up from work. Back at home and Alex was dancing again to the music.

During dinner it was Bebe Lilly songs on the computer and Alex had a good old time listening and bopping to the music. It gave enough time for a 3 course meal. Pasta, snacks and then an ice block.

Alex didn't mind the old ice block and it took quite a while to finnish.

Even after dinner Alex was listening to the music of Bebe Lilly and by the looks of her shirt really enjoyed dinner.

It was a busy day for Alex with a trip to the Dr's for her 15 month physical and another vaccination. Alex weighed in at 21lbs(20th percentile) and measured 32 inches (94th percentile). She made plenty of friends with the staff (as usual) and didn't cry at all for the vaccination needle. So all in all a good visit. Later in the afternoon Mum and Dad took Alex to the pool for a swim and then it was back home and Alex enjoyed some dancing to some music.

Mum joined in with the dancing and Alex added some running to her routine.

After the dancing Alex wanted something out of the fridge.



She helped herself to a big drink of juice as Mum was preparing dinner.

It was a quick dinner and then upstairs for a bath before bed.

Alex went to both swims today and then later in the afternoon went in herself with Dad. They spent a good hour in the outdoor pool and Alex even made friends with a couple of young boys who she through a ball to. After swimming it was home for a good nap and Alex woke up just in time for Mum to get home. Mum and Alex did a few things, like going to the food store and other stores and then it was dinner time, bath time and then bed time. There was only one photo today mainly because Alex was either with Dad or Mum with no one to snap any shots.

Alex went to the beach today and even went in the water for a while. There were no pictures but it was Alex's first real dip in the ocean. Later in the afternoon back at home Alex fed some nuts to the squirrells.

Actually these photo's were before the trip to the beach because Alex got her new board shorts nice and wet and the nike shirt didn't last long once Dad noticed Alex wearing it.

It's Father's day tomorrow but it was Alex's day today. Mum and Dad bought Alex quite a few new toys so she will have something to play with in the basement. Here Alex is playing with the school bus. She also got a swing, a pull cart, some blocks and some little people.

Alex still likes to run around as she plays with the toys.



Downstairs Alex had a try in the swing and after about 5 minutes had enough.

Just before bed Alex chewed ona peach for about half an hour. With more teeth coming in Alex has had her whole hand in her mouth so the peach was a good change.

Alex went to both swims today, had a couple of naps and then later in the afternoon got ready to go to a Barbecue for the Hingham high school Cycling team. Just before leaving Alex started dancing to some music playing.

Alex had everything she needed for the night. Somthing to chew on, a supply of milk and bare feet so she could run around on the grass.

Alex and Dad took a trip to Lowes hardware store in the morning so Alex's play room in the basement could be finished. Plenty of padding and a good amount of space so Alex can run around and play safely.

Because there aren't many toys down there yet Alex decided to lift up the rubber floor mats.

Alex spent a good hour playing whilst Mum and Dad looked on. It's a lot easier for head stands with the padding of the carpet and the rubber mats.

As Mum prepared dinner Alex emptied the food closet again!

Another day without many photo's, infact Alex didn't really do much today. A trip to BJ's with Dad in the morning, a 3hr nap and then it was wait for Mum to come home.



After feeding the squirrells again Alex played with a few things like pasta boxes, herb bottles and some penut butter. Mum doesn't mind just as long as Dad puts it all away!

There were no photo's to post on yesterdays blog and only two for today. Alex spent the morning with Dad and then went to the pool with Mum in the afternoon and took her first dip with her head under the water which went ok. Later in the afternoon Alex fed the squirrells and chipmunk again.

After dinner Alex got to try Mum's ice block and it tasted pretty good. Hopefully there will be more photo's for tomorrow.
