Alex woke early this morning and went to both swims and then was pretty tired for most of the day. Dad tried everything to get Alex to have a snooze and in the end gave up by giving Alex a little KitKat Chocolate which she throughly enjoyed, followed that with a good bath and then about a 2.5hr walk in the jog stroller which had Alex fall asleep pretty quick.

Later in the day when Mum came home Alex enjoyed reading through a few books. Just before bedtime Alex learned a new skill, "Running"! If we are quick enough we will try and get some photo's soon!

There were no photo's to post today so this was a little video footage of Alex walking around the other day.

Alex got to go to both swims today and also had two good naps of about 2hrs. Naps lead to plenty of playing and fun, with some eating too! Alex nibbled on a few grapes but enjoyed throwing them more than eating them!

When Mum came home from work Alex joined her in a game of kicking the ball. Dad thought she looked like a convict in her striped outfit!

There were no more falls today and it looks like Alex's brow is going to heal up nicely.

It was quite a routine day for Alex today until late this afternoon when she was carrying something, tripped and fell and hit just above her eye on a door hinge. This was the first time she has drawn blood and she now has a cut just above her eye. It gave Mum and Dad a scare but Alex got some extra attention and then went back to playing around.

Alex fell a sleep quite early tonight (7.15pm) so it was dinner, a little playing and throwing balls and a quick bath and then straight to bed.

Alex slept in this morning until about 6.30am and then fell back to sleep at about 8.30am. She woke up in time for the 11.00am swim and had fun walking and moving around the pool deck. Back at home Mum snapped a few photo's of Alex walking around carrying things and chewing on Purtunia at the same time.

Now and then Alex gets close to a stumble and has to catch her balance whilst not dropping anything.

I think Mum liked taking these photo's because there werent any other's from today.

Alex woke up at 7.30am this morning which is quite early for both Alex and Mum on a Sunday. Dad happened to be biking with Carolyn in the basement which left Mum to entertain Alex for a couple of hours. Playing with a piece of foam came in handy for a while.

Even later in the day Alex continued to play with her piece of foam as she walked around the room.

Mum has been trying to find some different things for Alex to eat to give good variety and also be a healthy choice. Mums idea was pea's and looks like Alex had the same reaction Dad had with the news!

It looked like Alex was finished eating dinner so Mum wanted the spoon. Not if Alex could help it!

There was no post yesterday because there were no photo's. So first thing this morning we snapped a photo of Alex as she was dressed to join the early morning run group.



Although Alex is yet to go Skiing she has worn her Ski outfit several times. If she had a helmet to match it would make a good playsuit so she could take a few falls without getting hurt.



Strwaberries have been a nice addition to Alex's diet lately and she doesn't mind hanging onto one a carrying it around for a while.

After a good ten minutes of walking Alex takes a bite of the Strawberrie and about 20mins later she finishes it off. It gave her some good energy for later in the day when she got to go in the pool after Master's swim.

After Alex woke up this morning she got to go for a good push in the stroller to the shops and also Walmart. Total time out was close to two hours. When she get home it was a drink of milk followed by a good nap. Later in the after Alex did a lot of walking of her own round and round the house!

Alex only went to the 11.00am swim today and then later in the afternoon went for a walk with Dad to Walmart. On the way home Alex was a little hungry and the only food on board the buggey was a twix bar and Alex enjoyed a small piece for the whole journey back.

Back at home Alex needed a good drink and a change of clothes and then walked around for the next 30mins holding the cup in her mouth.



Mum made rice and beans for dinner and when Alex had had enough she started playing with the spoon in her mouth.

After a bath and just before bed Alex did a video call on the computer with Poppie. Alex put on a good show of her walking skills, her talking (coughing) skills and also her jumping skills.

Mum didn't go to work today because she was sick. Dad and Alex did their best not to breathe in the sick fumes so ended up going for a long walk to the post office. It was a nice day outside and Mum happened to be out of bed just as they got home so Alex got to play on the nice green grass. Just one problem, Alex wouldn't put her feet down. No matter what she would not let her feet touch the grass. It was a fun time and Alex just kept playing along and refused to touch the grass!

Yet another cold day outside this morning so Alex and Mum slept in instead of going to the early swim. Later in the morning Mum put a jacket on Alex to go to the 11.00am swim and Alex was trying to run away from Mum who was trying to put some shoes on Alex.

With the jacket and shoes all in order Alex headed for the door and was the first ready to get going.

It warmed up nicely outside late in the afternoon so Mum and Alex took a long walk and as usual Alex pulls her shoes and socks off when she gets the chance.

Another quiet day for Alex because of the cool wet day outside. It was a trip to the pool to see Mum and then a trip to the foodstore. Besides that Alex played indoors all day. Carolyn bought Alex a Boston Marathon Mascot bear from the Marathon Expo and Alex played with it for a while too!

Later in the afternoon Sue Anne from Philladelphia dropped by for a visit. She is in town for the Boston Marathon which is tomorrow morning. Alex had some fun with Sue Anne and enjoyed playing with her shoes and colourfull toe nails!

It was a little cold and wet outside today so Mum and Alex stayed in bed instead of coming to the early morning run group. When Dad came home he thought he saw a little escaped prisoner but it was just Alex in her jailbird outfit.

Today Mum also had a sore throat and a few sniffles so there was no afternoon swim for Alex either. It was an indoors day through and through. Later in the night Mum said Alex's favourite word, "BATH" nothing gets Alex more excited than a BATH!

Once again Alex went to both swims today and had a nap later in the afternoon. There is always a sit in front of the computer during meal time which was a banana.

Late in the afternoon Mum, Dad and Alex took a trip to the Derby street shops and bought a couple of new toys from Kohls. Alex enjoyed the trip out and then got to play with one of the toys that made music for her to dance to.

The toy was a big hit and Alex caried it around the place for a while.

Then it was time to play with the other toy which was a little easier to carry and just as much fun.

Today was another day of only one photo of Alex even though she was quite busy all day. It started with a jog to pick up the car from Mums work so Dad could make a trip to the bike shop. Then on the way home a stop in at the Derby Street Shops, REI, Kohls, Barnes and Noble Bookstore where a few of the shops visited. After that we dropped the car back at Mums work and then Alex took a good nap. Later in the afternoon there was a drive to Norwell, a stop off to look at a piece of Land down the street and then it was dinner time and the usual Bebe Lilly clip to watch on the computer. A quick bath and then Alex was in bed by 7.30pm.

Alex went to the early morning swim today and then to the 11.00am one as well. She was a little sleepy at both but made up for it with two good naps during the day. Later in the afternoon Alex went for a walk to walmart with Dad and then to BJ's with Mum. Alex wanted to try Mums sunnies before the walk to BJ"S.

Dad drove the care to BJ"S to meet up with Mum and Alex and snapped a quick photo inside the store.

Back at home Alex enjoyed playing with a new box of diapers we bought from BJ"s. She has no problems walking these day's, definately getting good balance.

The box made for a great thing to push around the floor for ten minutes infact Alex would still be pushing it if it wasn't for dinner and a bath.

Mum gave Alex some rice and beans and then mentioned the word "bath" and Alex was quick to get her shirt off ready to head up stairs.

After the bath Dad had to slip out and get Mum a special order for dinner and Alex was there to open the door when he arrived home.

Another day where there were not many photo's taken. Alex got to go in the stroller for a walk to Walamrt with Dad in the morning and then later in the afternoon it was to the bank and then the Pharmacy with Mum. Now Mum and Dad have new cell phones Alex found one of the old ones and pretends she is making a call. She also likes to put it in her mouth.

Alex woke up about 2.00am this morning which sometimes happens. Usually it's a quick change of diaper and a little milk and she is back to sleep. But somehow after she was changed the bed became soaking wet so Alex needed some new PJ's, we had to change the sheets and with all the commotion Alex was wide awake and didn't want to go back to sleep. Alex spotted Dads cell phone and started playing with it, then Dad was in trouble for playing with Alex and before we knew it was time to get up for swim. Mum and Alex stayed home and finally slept whilst Dad went to open the pool and coach. Later in the morning Alex enjoyed playing with some of the things she found under the bed. I guess the cell phone is only allowed in the room now if it is hidden!

Mum cooked up a nice dinner and Alex ate plenty. It was getting close to bed time for Alex so Mum made sure Purtunia was around so Alex would fall asleep quick.

Alex had a good sleep in this morning and then it was off to the pool for a swim. Dad played with Alex for a while and then Mum came and joined in. We only got one photo but most of the time Alex was holding a kick board as she moved in the water. After swim it was off to a late breakfast at Uncle Charlie's. Then a quiet afternoon with Alex falling asleep early.

Alex was up early this morning because the run group started at 8.00am. It was a little cool out so Alex was dressed in her winter Ski outfit so she would be nice and warm as she was pushed in the stroller.

After the running was over Mum decided to clean out a few draws with some old sports clothes in. Alex was a good help by pulling the clothes out of the draws for Mum.



Alex listened to some good French music on the computer and was moving around pretty good to the tunes!

Later int he afternoon there was a visit from Abby and her new son Ethan who is only just over 2months old. Alex enjoyed the visit and had a few minutes to play with Ethan.
