Alex hung out in her pen this morning whilst Mum prepared her new pasta sauce that takes all day to cook.

Then later on in the afternoon Alex played on the floor whilst Mum cooked some pasta to go with the sauce.

Alex likes throwing balls and pretty much likes throwing anything so these things where good to throw and then chase after.

It doesn't take long before something else gets Alex's attention and off she goes after it.

After a bath Alex hung out with Dad to practice some walking. She did great although when the camera came out she started jumping instead of walking.

Then down stairs to practice moving by holding onto the couch. Dad used the tv remote for Alex to move toward.

Once she got there she was alowed to change channels which she always enjoys doing.

Alex has been having fun climbing the stairs with a ball, placing it one stair up and then crawling up.

Later in the day today Mum was getting lunch ready and Alex was getting impatient woundering where her food was.

She pretty much said" please Mum hurry up I'm hungry"

Just before bed Alex was playing on the floor and then she crawled on her knees for the first time. Usually she crawls like a soldier!

Once again Alex spent most of the day playing and then when she could tried to stand up.

Later in the afternoon Kara and Baby Mia came over for a Lasagna dinner. Alex got to play with Mia but under Mums contol.

Until Mia gets a little older Alex has to look but don't touch!

Alex went to both swims today, had a couple of good sleeps of about 2hrs each and then enjoyed playing on her push toy again.

Later in the evening Mum had to make a Lasagna so Alex got to hang out in the compound. There was plenty of toys in there for her to play with but she just wanted to stand up and watch what was going on.

She enjoyed standing and holding on as she moved around the pen.

Alex started the day off with some breakfast whilst watching a DVD that Carolyn bought a little while back.

After breakfast and the DVD Alex played for a short while with her toys on the floor.

Because Alex doesn't want to sleep much during the day any more she needed plenty of things to do. There were a couple of trips to the mail box, messing around in the basement, some stair climbing and then when Mum came home so pushing around on the baby hot rod!

Alex enjoyed it so much that Mum had to keep pushing.



Then finnally Alex had had enough to give Mum a bit of a break.

After some pasta for dinner Alex went up for a good bath.

Alex's Meme went home today and Alex smiled for a photo with her before the trip to the airport.



Later in the afternoon Alex played with Mum and also got a taste of a powerbar whilst Mum ate the most of it!



Alex got to try out her play pen in the evening and found it easy to stand up in.

Alex spent the morning with Meme and they played with quite a few different toys, read some books, ate a little and napped a little together on the couch.

Alex has a couple of teeth coming through on the top but it's the bottom two that stand out the most.

Alex is now using the box full of diapers to lean against and walk around the room. Dad is always close by until she gets 100% proficient.

Alex is also still trying to stand at every opurtunity she has.

Alex got to take a trip to the shops with Mum and Meme today. When they came home Mum got a few close up pictures of Alex in her pink jumper.(sweat shirt!)

Then another one just for fun.

Whilst they were at Target Meme bought Alex some teething biscuits and Alex thought they were quite tasty as a snack.

It took a little while to eat but Alex stuck with it.

Alex went to the early swim and then spent the day playing with Meme. After all the standing up she has been doing she is still in one piece and now is starting to push a box around leaning on it as she walks.

Alex also played with some toys and couldn't quite get the right shapes to fit through the holes of the square box!

Alex woke up early this morning to drive Mum to work. It's a short trip but she had some things to play with in the car seat.

A couple of hours later it was a trip to the airport to pick up Meme who is here for the weekend. Alex stayed awake for the ride and sucked on the rag doll the whole time. (purtunia! as Mum calls it).

Back at home meme gave Alex some Dunkin Donuts donut and then later in the night some pizza. That's the most junk food Alex has had ever!

Later in the afternoon it was mail time and Alex carried the keys and the letters as well this time.

There was one more trip in the car today as Meme went shopping so Alex and Dad drove to pick her up.

There was also some playing around with Meme giving Alex a lift in the air.

Alex went to both swims today and Mum snapped a photo at the 11.00am swim. I think they were making animal sounds together!

Later in the afternoon it was stair climbing practice and Alex was moving up pretty quick.

Nearly to the top she stopped and turned to see how far up she was.

Alex got to watch the snow coming down this morning and even went to the mail box as it was coming down.

Alex spent a lot of time today standing up. She finds something to grab onto and then up she goes.

Alex slept in this morning and only went to the 11.00am swim. When she got back home she worked on standing up and pushing up with her arms.

Alex pretty much played with her toys all day long.

She has a good variety of toys scattered all over the place.
