Even though it was an early start of 5.30am to go to swim for Alex this morning, she stayed awake for most of it. Here's a photo of her hanging out whilst Mum swims.

And then another from a different angle.

Later in the afternoon Alex went for the ride to Dubin Chiropractic where mum had an apointment. We got a close up of her waiting for her Mum to come back from the Chiro.

And then it was into the car seat for the ride home with a stop at Sleepy's bedding on the way home to order the new King Size Mattress.

Another day another diaper! This morning Alex said goodbye to her Mum as she went to work. Then it was a trip to the post office in the jogger to mail some pictures to PA.

It rained a little on the way home and Alex got a little wet so it was into the yellow duck for a rinse and spray from the shower. After that she enjoyed being wrapped in the towel to dry off.

When Mum was home from work it was into the swing chair watching emails being sent. As always she likes any type of movement so the swing was fun.

It was another warm afternoon so Dad took Alex out on the balcony to count cars and take it easy. After about 10mins she fell asleep for a good 45mins out there.

Another new favourite spot is the Jelly Cat. It's really comfortable so Alex can lay back and lift her legs as she please's.

If I could some today up it was about sleep and smiles. Alex went to the 5.30am swim and slept through most of it. Same thing with the 11.00am swim. And then after that it was more sleep. Mum snapped this shot as she slept with a toy frog in her mouth.

Later in the day she got back to the sleep position and slept for over two hours whilst Dad watched a movie on Nelson Mandela!

Amongst the sleeping she played a little and had some fun.

Mum was cooking dinner and she amused her self in the swival chair.

Alex was hungry and she got the luxury of spoon feeding from her mum. They both like the high chair, and it was on Clearance from Babies R Us.

This morning it was nice and warm out (just like Australia warm) so Dad and Alex pulled out the jog stroller that Master's swim people pitched in to buy. Alex got strapped in and comfortable and we headed out for a run.

There was no one to take a picture of us running so we took two before we went.

After the run it was a quick dip in the rubber duck and then into the new high chair to try some fresh blended banana for the first time.

It took about an hour but Alex enjoyed eating banana out of her new high chair. (she didn't really make much of a mess either!)

Alex slept in again for the 5.30am swim but went to the 11.00am swim. On the way home in the car she fell asleep and slept for a while at home in the car seat.

When she woke up she went up stairs where it was cool and stretched out.

Later in the day she was still laying around but this time on the "Jelly Cat".

At 6.30pm she went for a walk with Dad that started in the stroller and part way switched to the carry me thingy! It was good because she got to look around as the walk went on.

About an hour later she feel asleep easily downstairs on the otterman. She stayed there for quite a few hours, peacefull as can be.

Today Meme and Poppy had to return home to PA. It was an 8hr trip so they left early. After they left Alex lay around on her blanket.

Later in the day we went to Babies R Us to buy a high chair. We also picked up a rubber duck for Alex. She tried it out on the small table first.

She liked it and then was ready to take it to the bath tub.

She had some fun in the tub and then later on took a real bath in it.

Alex slept like a rock last night and then woke up at 6am for a quick drink and then slept until 9am. She started the day off good and was in a great mood. She got to hang out with Meme all dressed in Yellow!

Later in the afternoon she played a little here and there.

She got to hang out with Poppy and play with his beard.

And then it was spoon feeding time for the first time.
She liked the rice cereal more than the photo indicates!

She is use to having the cereal in her bottle, but her Meme put too much in the bottle so we had to spoon it out!

After dinner she was relaxing in her jelly cat.

The jelly cat is very soft and comfortable

Next up was her favorite place, the bath tub! She has discovered that she likes all of her body covered by the water so she squirms her way down until just her head is sticking up.

Friday, July 24, 2009

Today was a windy rainy day so Alex stayed home from the 5.30am and the 11.00am swims. At 5.00am Meme woke up and took care of her. And then Poppy had the pleasure at times too! Here they are checking each other out.

And then Alex lightens up a little with some good smiles.

It looks like Alex might have some teeth coming through and she found it hard to sleep and eat all day. So she needed some extra speacial attention.

And on a rare moment she fell asleep later in the afternoon.

Meme cooked a great dinner and Alex watched us eat from her swival chair.

She was entertained by all the gadgets on the chair.

Soon we will have a high chair so she can join us at the table.

After dinner Alex got to go for a walk to the bank and then a little extra around the block.

So with the playing in the chair, the walk and then a bath she was ready for dinner herself and then she fell asleep.

When Alex woke up her Gran Parents were here all the way from Greencastle PA. It was a good surprise for her and she got to read some new books and here a different accent whilst being read to. She also went for a walk to the food store with them for over an hour.

Later in the afternoon she hung out with her Mum whilst keeping an eye on Mimi.

Alex went to the 5.30am swim this morning and was wide awake to watch everybody swim.

She is looking forward to jump in and swim her self one of these days.

The day flew by quickly and after a quick trip to lowes hardware store to buy a shower door she got to hang out with mum typing on the computer.

A surprise package came in the mail the other day and it was from Josie all the way in San diego. Baseball glove, ball and a nice thingy with her name on it. Alex caught the first ball we through her way!

Her she is showing everything that came in the package. Thanks Josie you are too kind!

Alex's Mum likes the Baltimore Orioles and Josie sent Alex a book on them thinking she likes them too! Umm? Born in MA! Big poppie! Paplebon! You can't see her feet but I think Alex has some "Red Sox" on in the photo!
