Today was a busy day and it started off with swim lessons in the bath for at least 1hr. After that there was plenty of playing and swinging followed by a movie on the movie channel. On Saturday's the swim team swims at 4pm so we got to walk to the pool (about 1mile) with a stop part way for a top up of milk.

Carolyn was one of the first at the pool so she got to spend some time with Alex.



Also at the pool was John Bobbin from our 5.00am master's swim. He was having some fun in the splash pool with his Daughter Kiera and also trying to read the weekend newspaper!

Later tonight we get to go to Jamies restaurant for diner aand Keno and maybe meet Jonathan there. That's all for Saturday.

Alex has been enjoying a different bed to hang out in. It has bird music playing and vibrations under her back. Here's a photo below. She has also been smiling alot lately, must be because the warm weather is coming!



Now that she is getting a little bigger she has been using the big swing. This one goes higher and faster.



She has also been swimming every day now in the bath tub. She really enjoys floating on he back and then pushing off the wall. A trip to the real pool won't be too long!

Today Alex went with her Mother to Webb Park in North Weymouth to meet Noel (who is 11months old) and his mother Jess for a walk.

When she got home it was time to eat and then another nap and then later on it was another swim lesson in the bath tub.

Also forgot to mention that Alex got weighed yesterday (via the Kara method) and came in at 13lbs 2ounces.

Today was Memorial Day here in Massachuesettes and we went over to Kara & Dino's house for a BBQ. Joining us was Carolyn, Kay, Kara, Dino and Rosco (the pooch!) Here are some photo's.

Chef Dino once again made a delicious menu of Bergers, Chicken, Nacho's and more. Kara made some chocolate cupcakes for desert!



"Chef" Dino, and soon to be Dad himself takes good care of Alex.


And Rosco the Dog of the house sat back whilst Alex got all the attention!

Today Alex went for a walk to get the mail in her carry cradle, she got to look around alot.

Also she played on her favourite toy whilst being pushed around on it.

This afternoon she will go to the swimming pool to watch master's swim. Her friends Carolyn and Kara will be there and hopfully we can get a photo of them.

Friday and the working week is nearly over. An early 5.30am trip to the pool where Alex slept through the whole session and then back for the 11.00am session and she slept again. Once we returned home after a top up of milk it was nap time again. See picture below.

The plan for the rest of the day is a walk to the bank and then a walk to walmart. Later tonight it's bath time again. Quite a non eventfull day in all.

Alex didn't do much today, infact she stayed home to stay out of the heat. Worked on strengthing her neck by playing on her stomach which is a challenge. Hopefully one of these days she will figure it out. Below are a few photo's starting from when she was two weeks up until now at 8.5weeks old.

This morning Alex and her Mother slept in instead of going swimming at 5.30am. She did go to the 11.00am swim though and spent most of the time in the baby carier that Patti and John from Richmond bought her. (we will get a photo soon.)


The other night Alex had a video call with Poppy on his computer. She has a photo from when he was here visiting and she looks forward to more video calls.

Tonight Alex got to do her favorite thing, that is take a bath. She has two kinds. One in the small tub and then the other in the big tub where she has been practicing floating and kicking on her back. She loves the water! Here's a photo in the small bath from tonight.

Today Alex went for another walk. This time to Walmart. It was warm out so she wore her summer hat that Carren bought. Here's a photo.

Today Alex went to the pool at 5.30am. Came home for a sleep and some milk and then went back to the pool again at 11.00am. After a good nap she got to go out for a walk to the bank to put some more money in her account. Also today she is trying some new food for the first time. She also got her hair brushed for the first time and later tonight will have another bath.

2months old

This is Alexandra's page and we hope to keep it updated with photo's and news. Today she turned 2months old,(or exactly 8 weeks). Her last weigh in was 11lbs 6oz at 5weeks, her birth weight was 7lbs 8oz.

Candy's Nan and Pap came for a visit from PA for two days. They have now left to go home via Vermont.

Andy's mother has just returned home to Australia. 31hrs of travel time for the return journey. She spent 13days visiting Alexandra and had a wonderful time.
