August 19th and we missed posting Alex's blog. That was because Mum and Dad's birthday is the 19th and the family took a trip to Connecticut for a getaway. We met Meme and Poppie there and stayed the night. We left after the 11.00am swim and Alex slept in the car for the entire 1.5hr trip. When we arrived at the hotel she tried out the bed for another nap.

This is a good shot at Alex's new sleeping position.

After the snooze she was wide awake and ready to have some fun.

Mum changed her into some nice clothes so we could look at the shops.



We had a good walk around and before too long it was off to bed and then Alex woke up early next morning to take a look at the pool.



She was looking good in one of her favourite outfits.



For breakfast we went to a buffet. Meme looked over Alex whilst Mum, Dad and Poppie got some food.



Mum had many deserts and let Alex try some of the chocolate moose. She liked it and had a little arround her mouth!



There was a lot of eating going on so Alex decided to play with Poppie's beard to pass the time.



After breakfast there was a couple of hours before we left to go home. There was some good water falls and Alex took a good look at them.

Mum took a close up photo so she could have it for Alex's 5 mounth picture frame.

And then one more photo with Mum along side the waterfalls before we headed home.

Back at home and Alex was watching You Tube again on the computer.
